("UNI," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your access to and use of the UNI website, beta program, mobile application, AI assistant features, reminders, account notifications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, requesting beta access, creating an account, or otherwise using UNI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The UNI Service
UNI is an assistant and companion experience designed to help users organize ideas, goals, reminders, schedules, and daily responsibilities. The Service may include planning tools, focus features, reminders, account notifications, character or companion experiences, AI-generated responses, and beta testing features.
UNI is provided for personal productivity, organization, and general informational purposes. UNI is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, emergency, or professional advisory service. You are responsible for evaluating any information, reminder, suggestion, or output before relying on it.
Beta Access and Product Changes
Parts of the Service may be offered as an early beta. Beta features may be incomplete, changed, interrupted, or removed at any time. We may invite, limit, pause, or end beta participation at our discretion. Submitting a beta request does not guarantee access.
Accounts and Eligibility
You may need an account, invitation code, or other access method to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
AI Features and Outputs
The Service may use artificial intelligence to generate responses, plans, reminders, summaries, or other outputs. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation. You should independently verify important information and should not rely on UNI for emergencies, professional advice, or time-critical safety decisions.
You are responsible for the content you submit to UNI and for how you use outputs. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to provide, content that is unlawful, or content that violates another person's rights.
SMS Messaging Terms
UNI may offer SMS reminders and account notifications to users who explicitly opt in. Messages may include reminders created by the user, high-priority reminder follow-ups, missed reminder confirmations, account or service notifications, and related operational messages. UNI does not use this SMS program for third-party marketing or promotional messages.
By providing your phone number and affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from UNI at that phone number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on your reminder settings, account activity, and use of UNI.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for sent or received messages.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages from UNI. You may receive a confirmation message after opting out.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@hereisuni.com.
- Carrier liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile opt-in data. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, or messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Submit content that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law.
- Use UNI outputs as a substitute for professional advice, emergency services, or your own judgment.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, affiliation, or authority to use the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, visual elements, branding, characters, and other materials, is owned by UNI or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or any UNI materials.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about UNI, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to improve the Service or develop related products.
Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, such as hosting, analytics, messaging, community, payment, or communication providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
