("UNI," "we," "our," or "us") provides the UNI website, beta program, mobile application, reminder tools, account notifications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information from people who visit our website, request beta access, contact us, use UNI, or opt in to receive messages from us.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that we handle personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Terms of Service.

  • Phone number and messaging consent. If you choose to receive SMS reminders or account notifications, we may collect your phone number, consent status, consent timestamp, opt-in source, message preferences, and SMS replies such as STOP, HELP, DONE, or SNOOZE.

  • Usage information. We may collect information about how you interact with our website and Service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and general activity patterns.

SMS, Phone Numbers, and Messaging Consent

UNI may send SMS reminders, reminder follow-ups, missed reminder confirmations, and account or service notifications only to users who provide a phone number and explicitly opt in to receive SMS messages from UNI. We do not use this SMS program for third-party advertising or promotional messaging.

Mobile opt-in data is not sold or shared for third-party marketing.

We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, or messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share phone numbers and message data with vendors, carriers, aggregators, and service providers only as needed to deliver, support, secure, or comply with the SMS messaging program.

  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your reminder settings, account activity, and interactions with UNI.
  • Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt out. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

How We Share Personal Information

  • Service providers. We may share information with vendors that help us host the website, process forms, deliver email or SMS messages, provide analytics, support the app, or operate the Service.
  • Messaging providers and carriers. We may share SMS-related information with messaging providers, aggregators, and carriers as needed to send, receive, manage, and comply with text messaging.

AI Interactions and User Content

UNI may allow users to submit text, reminders, tasks, schedules, preferences, or other content to generate assistant responses or organize daily responsibilities. If you include personal information in that content, we may process it to provide and improve the Service. You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of UNI.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained as needed for compliance and operational records.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy
